Mamawise is an app for mothers, and most of what you put into it is about your child. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

Only what the app needs to work:

  • Your account details — your phone number, and your name and email if you give them.
  • What you record about your child — their date of birth and sex, milestones, feeding, growth measurements and mood entries.
  • Your own mood check-ins, including any note you write with them.
  • Questions you ask the Dr. Duaa assistant.
  • Basic technical information needed to keep the service running and secure.

Why we collect it

To show you guidance that matches your child’s age, to keep your records where you can find them, and to answer your questions. That is all.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to build a profile of you for anyone else.

Health information

Much of what you record is health information about a child, and we treat it as sensitive. It is visible to you in your account. Our staff do not read it routinely; access is limited to the people who need it to operate or support the service, and only when there is a reason.

The AI assistant

When you ask Dr. Duaa a question, your question — and the age and sex of the child it is about — are sent to the AI provider that generates the answer, so that it can reply. Your name, phone number and contact details are not sent.

Questions and answers are kept in your chat so you can look back at them, and are reviewed by our clinical team to improve the quality of the guidance.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we delete what is in it.

Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it at any time — from the support page, or by writing to info@mamawise.co from the email address on your account. We will confirm it is you before anything is removed. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, and we aim to complete it within 30 days.

Children

Mamawise is for parents and carers, not for children. Accounts are held by adults, and the information about a child is entered by the adult who is responsible for them.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
